Multiple city departments will join Council Member Warsame and residents of the buildings are encouraged to share their experiences and voice their concerns.

"For months we’ve been hearing about livability concerns from residents of Riverside Plaza,” said Council Member Abdi Warsame. "We take these concerns very seriously and that’s why we want to meet with residents publicly to hear more and discuss how things can move in a positive direction.”

Riverside Plaza represents the largest housing development project in the stateand houses the highest concentration of immigrants in Minneapolis.

"The residents of Riverside Plaza, like all residents in Minneapolis, are entitled to live in buildings that are well-maintained and meet the community’s standards for quality housing. The management must ensure the safety, comfort and restoration of services for all tenants,” said Council Member Warsame.
